The Office of the Vice Provost for Research manages a number of internal funding opportunities on behalf of the University as well as access to external funding opportunities.

Internal Funding

The University Research Foundation (URF)

The URF, an internal funding program, accepts applications every fall and spring. SThe URF offers the following grant opportunities: Research Grants, Conference Support, Impact Seminar Grants, and Research Opportunity Development Grants, Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Limited Submission Opportunities:

For certain funding opportunities investigators will find that the University as a whole can only a finite number of applications. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) coordinates the selection process for grant competitions in instances where a limited number of applications are accepted.
