Funding

The Office of the Vice Provost for Research manages a number of internal funding opportunities on behalf of the University as well as access to external funding opportunities.

Internal Funding

The University Research Foundation (URF)

The University Research Foundation (URF) is an internal funding program offering the following grant opportunities: Research Grants and Conference Support.

Grant: Discovering the Future

A grant to transition exciting new ideas to the point at which they can be sustained by other modes of support.

Limited Submission Opportunities:

For certain funding opportunities investigators will find that the University as a whole can only submit a finite number of applications. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) oversees the selection process for grant competitions in instances where a limited number of applications are accepted.

Grant: Accelerating from Lab to Market

A pre-seed grant to transition exciting new ideas to the point at which they can be commercialized and brought to market.
