Biography

Neil Kuster has served as Program Coordinator/Manager of the Research Integrity Office since October of 2021. He previously served as a Coordinator at Penn’s Linguistic Data Consortium, implementing and overseeing data collection and information extraction projects. Neil has been at Penn since 2004, when he began as a graduate student. He received his Master of Arts from Penn in East Asian Languages and Civilizations and has taught East Asian History at Temple University. After earning dual Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology and in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas, he went on to study, teach, and travel in China, Taiwan, and Korea for several years. Avoid pronouncing like Custer, but with a long u (“oo”) – or ü for linguist aficionados.
