Biography
Patrick J. Egan has served as Associate Vice Provost, Associate Counsel, and Director of the Research Integrity Office since April of 2023. He previously served as Sr. Director of Compliance Operations and Conflicts of Interest at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), overseeing compliance operations throughout the institution and managing the institution-wide conflict of interest program.
Prior to his time at CHOP, Patrick worked in various positions at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and Georgetown Hospital/Medstar Health. Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and his Juris Doctorate, with a focus on healthcare law, from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2011.
