Marta Bartholomew, MBA

Biography

Marta Bartholomew is Associate Vice Provost and Chief of Staff to the Vice Provost for Research. She joined the OVPR in July 2022 and previously served as Director of Research Programs and Communications since Director of Postdoctoral Affairs. Prior to her return to Penn she served as Assistant Provost of Administration at Haverford College, overseeing all administrative and financial matters for the academic program. Previously, Marta worked in various administrative roles at the University of Pennsylvania, including positions at Wharton, Annenberg School for Communication and the Perelman School of Medicine. She has a BFA in film and television from New York University and a MBA from Temple University with a focus in Social Entrepreneurship. She resides in West Philly with her family.
