Biography

Ken is the Associate Director for Research Programs and Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. With 1300+ postdoctoral trainees across twelve schools, they oversee policies and programs related to postdoctoral affairs, research funding, and communications strategies, while also managing the Penn Provost Postdoctoral Fellowship. Ken works to develop, maintain, and identify research and funding resources; coordinate internal and limited submission opportunities; and provide proposal development and reporting support. With a background in public affairs, international relations, and program management, they are committed to fostering growth in research programs and strengthening cross-institutional partnerships. Ken has lived abroad, working and studying in Germany and South Africa, and is fluent in German.
