Biography
Ken is the Associate Director for Research Programs and Communications at the University of Pennsylvania. With over 1300 postdoctoral trainees across twelve schools, they provide leadership for the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, which supports postdoctoral scholars and faculty and administrative staff seeking to hire, recruit, and train postdoctoral trainees. They serve as the Penn Provost Postdoctoral Fellowship for Academic Diversity primary administrator. Additionally, they develop, maintain, and identify research and funding resources; coordinate internal and limited submission opportunities; and provide proposal development and reporting support. Ken has a B.A. in Political Science from Niagara University and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Buffalo, SUNY. Ken has lived abroad, working and studying in Germany and South Africa, and is fluent in German.
