Biography
Jennifer Davis has served as Director of Animal Welfare Programs and Operations in the Office of Animal Welfare (OAW) since October 2022. She joined the OAW in 2013 as the Compliance Veterinarian but also served as the Associate Director for Compliance. Prior to joining Penn, Jennifer completed a residency in laboratory animal medicine at Emory University and Emory National Primate Center in Atlanta, GA. In addition to spending several years in both private practice and emergency/critical care of companion animals, she also has extensive experience in cardiovascular models using swine and mice at the Medical University of South Carolina (Charleston) and at Emory University. Jennifer obtained DVM from the University of Georgia and became board certified in laboratory animal medicine (LAM) in 2014. She is also a certified professional IACUC administrator.
