The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) supports the resources, community, and institutional infrastructure that shape the postdoctoral trainee experience at the University of Pennsylvania.
Under the guidance of the Vice Provost for Research, OPA provides University-wide leadership on postdoctoral governance, policy, best practices, and matters related to postdoctoral training and support.
OPA works closely with faculty, school leaders, business administrators, and other administrative partners across Penn’s research community to support more than 1,300 postdoctoral trainees across the University.
The OPA website provides University-wide information, resources, and guidance for postdoctoral trainees, faculty mentors, and administrators.
